Monkey Forest properly known as the Sacred Monkey Forest of Padangtegal, is a Hindu temple in Ubud, Bali in which the monkey population is overwhelming. Hundreds if not thousands of monkeys everywhere you walk and they have accepted the practice of accepting handouts. If you don't offer them they will come check just in case. One stole a moistened hand towel out of my bag when I set it down. Just glad he didn't go for a camera lens. Had to use my tripod to fend off a couple of quiet irritated ones. A most unusual experience but so well worth it and glad to have experienced that visit. Was Great !!
