Prague's wonderful medieval stone bridge, peppered with Baroque statuary, has been the main link between the two banks of the river for over five hundred years. All roads lead to Charles Bridge, Prague's most familiar monument and home to craft and souvenir stalls galore. Its fame is due mostly to the 30 magnificent Baroque statues which line each side.
