Cranes spend the winter in Spain in large numbers. Especially at Laguna de Gallocanta which a larger lake in Aragon east of Madrid. In February adn early March the cranes migrates to the north and in April a large number of the cranes from Spain gather in Sweden at the Hornborga lake for dancing and mating. There are no real closeups of the birds as they are very shy and only in a reserved shelter it is possible to get close.
