Somehow these hazardous sidewalks never got renovated along with Washington Square Park's major renovation several years ago. I know a number of senior citizens who have tripped or stumbled, including myself, on these sidewalks over the years.

Also the maintenance, ecological & aesthetic conditions do not reflect well on NYC & New York University, the major occupant around the park.
