East Houston Street - SOHO

West and East Houston Streets (pronounced HOWstin in our neighborhood) is the north border of SOHO. SOHO (SOuth of HOuston) roughly defines an area of Manhattan that runs from Houston to Canal Street and the Bowery to 6th Avenue. E and W Houston streets are noted for their large scale billboard advertisements.
