The Lake

The lake is located in the mid central part of the park roughly from 72nd to 76th streets.

The Boat House is most conveniently approached from 5th Avenue near 75th Street. I usually enter at 79th Street near the Metropolitan Museum and walk south past Cedar Hill and the Conservatory Pond to the Boat House. The Ramble entrance is just west of the Boat House. Bethesda Fountain is at the southeast end of the lake at 72nd Street.
