After the rains encountered in Capitol Reef Park, the next morning of May 20th dawned beautiful; we had one more park to explore in Nevada. We drove southwest on Hwy 15 in Utah, cut across the NW corner of Arizona into Nevada. On one stretch of the highway, we observed "fields" of Joshua trees. We exited onto a pull-out from the highway and entered into this area of critical environmental concern.
