This is a closeup project that I wanted to do for a long time, but I lacked a macro lens suitable for a full frame camera. With the newly bought Canon 100 L IS lens I steered my bicycle into the forest and foud this place with fresh cutting. I like to see the imagined miniature world inside the wooden giants. You can really forget about time and loose yourself in the endless variation of freshly cut wood made into timber. Fibres, textures and colours abound.
