These are my images of winter landscapes seen as a touring skater. First some impressions of the 2009 Blokzijl Lakes skating tour (Blokzijler merentocht, images 1-23), the first longer outdoor skating experience for me in many years. Also images from the Mill tour Alblasserwaard (Molentocht Alblasserwaard, images 24-43), that we skated during an exceptionally beautiful weekend. What follows is an impression of skating in 2010 around Ankeveen on the Ankeveense Plassen (44-56). Later the same year winter came early and we went to the Alde Faenen (Oude Venen) in Friesland, to skate between Akkrum and Eernwoude (57) and the day before New Year's Eve to Northwest Overijssel to skate from Zwartsluis to Blokzijl, through the Wieden (58). In 2012 the frost period came late in winter, in the second week of February. But is was a good one, it brought us almost an 'Elfstedentocht'. I skated the Zevendorpentocht around Grou in Friesland/Frisia (59-..). After that some impressions from the 2012 Molentocht in the Albasserwaard from Kinderdijk to Goudriaan and back (70-...) and a few photos from a tour with my son on the Veluwemeer (80-.., Harderwijk-Kampen).
