Hi, it seems like your lens is fixed to a digital camera? If you cannot get the lens off then you may want to be careful with vinegar or strong UV lamps. Also I believe that lenses are like fixed kits so it will be hard to 'unscrew' them and take the assembly apart so you can get at the fungus. Tell me how the service centre got on with it because they are best positioned to do such tasks. If the camera is worth it then consider a independent service centre or repair workshop. At the end of the day, you may be best off replacing your lens/camera and get shooting again!

Thanks for answer. In my case fungus produced ‘beautiful tree’ on lower part of picture, especially clearly visible with apertures more than 5.6. I tried to remove it myself, but without any result. I’ve read that vinegar can help, but I decided that it is too high risk to clean sensor with vinegar. Moreover, I had such feeling that it was under protection layer of sensor, if it is possible. So, now I hope that service center can clean it (they have not returned my camera back yet)… But I afraid, that fungus can continue to grow. In that case I’ll have 2 options: either to bring camera for cleaning regularly )-: or to learn how to remove it myself.

I didn't do much to the fungus, except for 'sunning' it in the hope some of the UV radiation will kill it. Maybe a strong UV lamp will have more effect. It is on the inside, maybe between the front lens and the 2nd lens. The fungus does not affect the optical properties, as long as there is no direct sunlight falling on it when I take a picture.

And what did you do with fungus? Was it inside or on the external surface of lens? I just got it on sensor and had to bring my camera to service center )-:
