An open field in Harmony Township near Phillipsburg, in western New Jersey near the border of Easton, Pennsylvania, was the site for the 72nd Annual Farmers' Fair, with livestock, horse shows, tractors, food, all kinds of vendors, rides, and more being the fair's participants for the public to visit. There was also, weather permitting, a hot air balloon flight competition on each night of the fair at 18:30. I was there on 1 August, 2009, the last day of the fair, which began on 26 July, 2009. The hot air balloon competiton was cancelled due to the anticipation of a thunderstorm cell expected to arrive at 19:00. However, some of the balloons went up anyway after the threat had dissipated over the Delaware River. I had two friends with me learning the art of photography. The day was enjoyed by all. The people were all very friendly, "well-behaved", the fair in all was VERY family-friendly, especially for children wanting to see cows, pigs, horses, goats, and more. Along with my images, there are folders of images my friends made as their perception of the fair.
