Mong

This site was constructed in rememberance of the martyrs of 1832 who rebelled against the crule rule of the Dogras. Some of them were hung on this tree and skinned alive. This memorial now lies in ruin, the tree standing damaged and site full of rubbish and human faeces. Shame to the government of AJK and the local Mong authorities.

your right.... actualy people or authorties in ajk r so iresponsible and careless.. even they do,nt care and remember the secrifice of those people who should be a sign of honour for us..gorment should realize this and built something amzing there to give tribute to those matyrs....
