Despite the prediction for thunderstorms during the afternoon, the intrepid Oberlin staff once again set up an appealing wine and cheese gathering. This year the event was coordinated by Alumni Executive Director Danielle Young, who did a yeoman job (pun intended) but would like to have a local event coordinator in place by 2011. For the seventh straight year Obie Luck held, and no thunderstorms appeared, except perhaps in the music of Richard Strauss's "Ein Heldenleben".
