New a year ago, this festival really took off in 2015. Held in Court Square in the middle of Springfield, MA the festival this year featured a performance by jazz bassist Avery Sharpe with a hand-picked gospel choir and some notable jazz players from the area. He was also honored with a proclamation proclaiming it Avery Sharpe Day in Sprinfield.

Avery's set was followed by saxaphonist "Big Chief" Donald Harrison (yellow striped jacket) with guest artist organist Lonnie Smith (yellow turban).
