Just to the west of Holyoke MA, across the Mt. Tom range, lies Easthampton MA. It is a working class community currently the lower-cost haven for struggling artists and musicians now priced out of the Northampton-Amherst areas. It is also home to the Williston-Norhampton School, a well-known secondary prep school. If I were moving into the area today, this is the first place I would look.
