D1X vs D300 ... is the D300's fuzziness real?

I repeated yesterday's shoot for the D1X and D300 this morning...to see if either improved. I took the MD-B10 motor drive off the D300 to remove any possibility of the heavy batteries creating enough imbalance on the tripod to affect results. If this had an effect, it was very slight.

Essentially these repeat tests just confirmed yesterdays results.
