This was the year the Giants went to the Division Championship for only the second time, and the year they experienced their first-ever winning no-hit game. It was a year when they had to play 36 innings within 48 hours to win only two of three semi-final games. It was a year of great team morale under a new coach. It was a year that has all fans looking forward to next year.

Update 12/1/07. There will be no *next* year. Owner Phil Rosenfield has announced that he has disbanded the team in order to concentrate on a new franchise in another league, closer to his home in the eastern part of the state. I will plan to leave this site up (better organized) for the forseeable future as a memorial to the team and season that was.
