perhaps I am showing my ignorance here. A lot of you really excellent bird photographers seem to have one of these in your galleries and I just don't know what it is. Looks a bit like a Dr. Seuss character to me. I wish I had one in my gallery -- I'd make it my gallery's mascot ;-)
