henry 你好 有个关于超焦距的问题想请教一下你 以17mm F10为例, 对焦距离在3m,20m,1000m时 景深包括了1m多到无穷远 这样看来对焦距离对景深影响不大啊 超焦距使用的意义是什么 在实际中 差别大吗?
在实际中 由于视距窗的无穷远不准 我都是先计算超焦距 然后对焦超焦距来做的 这样做有点费时 特别是我计算不同对焦距离的景深后 我开始怀疑是否有必要对焦超焦距了 盼望你给我解答啊

I use all my 4 split nd filters: 2 stop hard, 2 stop soft, 3 stop hard, 3 stop soft. People normally recommend to start with 3 stop hard and 2 stop soft, but I found I use all of them, although I used 3 stop filters more frequently, because I shoot a lot of sunrise/sunset pictures.

Pictures had to be processed as they were shot in raw. Basically they reflected what I saw at the scenes. Your co-workers really missed a lot of sunrises/sunsets. Many times when I witnessed those colorful sunrises or sunsets, I thanked God that I was given such a hobby(landscape photography), I missed too many beautiful scenes before I gained this passion.

I use SilkyPix to convert my raw files.

Your work is fantastic. I have showed some co-workers and some find it hard to believe they are real because of the deep colors and dramatic tones. I have to ask, are these processed at all and if so what tools do you use. My current favorite is the Fire in the Sky one.

I use SilkyPix as my Raw converter. It has color options that simulate film colors. Film color V2 is my favorite. It simulates Fuji Velvia.

Hi there Henry, I love your work! I live in Calgary Alberta but may be moving to Barrie Ontario in a few months. I notice you have a very nice collection of images from the Canadian Rockies as well as northern Ontario and would like your view as a photographer...can I still stay inspired in Ontario? My biggest fear is that I will move to Ontario and miss the mountains and loose inspiration. I know that Ontario has some nice scenery to offer but how accessable is it and how much population is around it? My wife and I have been struggling with this decision for about a year...we are stuck between being with family in Ontario and being in an area that I could persue a landscape photography carreer. Any advice or views as a photographer would be appreciated very, very, very much. Hi Chris,

My 20D got stolen, that's why I upgraded to 5D, and like 5D much better. I used the same work flow on both cameras, if you think 5D has better colors, then it does.
