Hi Henry,
My name is Miguel Candela and i'm currently in Hong Kong for the next comming month. I actually choose the Chinese Opera as my main goal to photograph here. I'm not a professional photographer and either as good as you (even though no one started being the best on everything either)...but i'm so excited for photographing the chinese opera; actors, behind the stage, etc.

I actually tried today to go to a theater and try to talk to someone if it was possible or to make an appointment...but i cant talk much chinese. Please, if you can let me know where to go or who should i ask for because i'm a little bit lost. If you can do this for me i would really appreciate it...

I always curious and adore Chinese Opera, you have done a wonderful job on reproducing the beauty and mystique of the Chinese Opera tradition. Many well captured moments you have in this gallery. Truely excellent.

Wonderful photos! I love Chinese Opera music and I would lóve to actually see one on stage. In the meantime, these pictures will do :)
