Joop's Dog Log - Sunday Dec 12

My humans are doing what they can to help me find the Christmas spirit.
They even put up this little tree with balls and lights over my basket!

But right now I have another thing to worry about: I lost a toe nail!
It happened when I was playing with a neighbourhood dog. I ran, made a sharp turn,
but somehow my left hind leg got stuck. I pulled, and the nail came off.
It was a bloody sight.
I'm waiting for the nail to grow back. My human says that will take some time.
But I'm an optimist. I believe it's coming back already!

Moin Joop ...just realized how long I haven't been here, this is a nice place for flogging too...good to hear that your paw is doing a little better now.

Hi Joop (and Henk)
You do look sad - I'll bet there are presents for you under that tree by Christmas Day. We can't leave any for Max - he'd open them too early and spoil the fun. We are now settled in the new house in the Limousin - check out Max + house on this week's PAD gallery and also Max's new solo gallery - 'Preparing for Bed with Max'. Hope the paw gets better in time for Christmas - meanwhile: whiskers up; no time for feeling sorry for yourself, things to do, places to visit, rodents to chase (Max chased a hare yesterday on Mont Dome, but lost it) Regards, Chris and Max
