Joop's Dog Log - Sunday September 12

Yesterday was 9/11, it`s been three years. And the world did change, boy did it change!
Evil never comes alone. Seems like all of us have gone into a long dark tunnel.
And that tunnel will be a lot longer and darker if the American humans decide to reelect GWB.
So, US voters: please don`t, I`m speaking for all the peaceloving dogs in my neighbourhood,
please give the other guy a chance.
He may not look like a Kennedy or a Clinton, but he could make a very decent president.
Anyway, it would be almost impossible for him to make as many mistakes
and do as much damage as GWB...

We have this strange phenomenon in our house lately: things brake down,
one after the other, something else every day.
It`s like all machines, appliances, lightbulbs and fixtures are communicating.
They drive my humans crazy. The dishwasher died, the electrical in the car stopped working,
part of a rooftile came down for no apparent reason, the computer`s CD burner stopped
working, the kitchen tray suddenly won`t slide anymore, a water pipe started leaking,
light bulbs died, stuff broke, we even ran out of dogfood...
Could be coincidences, could be something else...

Hi Joop, its great to see you. Many many many many people in my country, the USA, agree with you about GWB. I hope the plague of bad events at your house ends real soon.

The breaking down of appliances is probably because The CIA if GWB bugged your humans house, either that or it is sabotage by Al-Qaida! hihihihihihihihihi...... I wish you a peaceful Sunday though

Moin Joop, old friend...must be something in the air what bosslady calls "Pechpilze" and it obviously reaches from Güster to Paterswolde and back. She says it has something to do with a certain circle of life and the magic SEVEN, maybe you do understand this better being the philosopher in our fab-three-round?Another old friend of her didn`t say much about the actual situation in the USA, only this: "the following song is for my poor country and it is called "America"...."I`m empty and aching and I don`t know ." Counting the cars on the New Jersey Turnpike...they`ve all come to look for America, all come to look for America." B&P

Hello Joop!! We all agree with you about GWB!!! But I believe that some bad vibrations are coming from him directly to you and your house... He is a nasty guy, and spreads negative things around him! Even to think about him brings bad luck...
Relax Joop, and things will end up ok for the USA, people are not that crazy any longer, at least not twice... Have a nice afternoon!!

Joop, I`m trying my best for you, buddy! I`m going to spend a few days working in a "swing state" to try to get out the vote.

Molin Joop...oh boy...we know about midnight household ghosts cause we once had one who made the walnuts in a big bowl move at night and kept us from sleeping...and can assure you that there are really only those Pechpilze around! No ghost would come to a fine home like yours, but if you are not sure if it is a good or a bad one go outside this new moon night: put a plate with choco pudding to the front door..and next morning you will see...if it is eaten the ghost is a good one, if not, he is bad.....try and see and believe your partners B&P ( if it doesn`t convince you we can ask bosslady for a spell...she`s a witch!

I`m trying to do my part in my home swing state of Ohio. Among other things, a bumper sticker: "MORE TREES, LESS BUSH." I`m always heartened by an affirmative response to my car. One wonders how so many can proudly claim loyalty to GWB. Joop, your political messages give me a lift.

Maybe it`s the long, nefarious reach of GWB when he saw your plug for Kerry...breaking everything one by one, like he is trying to do to Kerry`s reputation. We Americans thank you for saying the things you did about GWB and Kerry. I saw today that the 9/11 families have endorsed Kerry...that is so good!!! They say bush was an obstructionist and has not made our country or the world safer. Iraq is a total disaster...a catastrophe..or as our not-too-sharp leader likes to call it: a catastrophic success. Can you, dear Joop, interpret that for me?

I think there is some strange ju-ju going on, too. Odd thing happening, something strange in the wind. Yes, 9/11 certainly changed the world. Maybe the voices of the dead are a little louder right now, who knows. Man, if that governer in the white house is elected again, or for the 1st time, my moms may come to your part of the world. who knows, looks like a great place.

the break-downs are strange. i`ve never had a run like that. could be coincidence, you`re right. about the rest: "this, too, shall pass," is depressing when you`re at a party, but makes me feel a bit better about the world these days. the only question is "when?"

I for one will take Joop's advice...seems dogs have more sense than people sometimes. GO KERRY!!!!!

Is running out of doggie food the reason Joop looks so sad, or is he still dreaming
of that wonderful holiday?
