Joop's Dog Log - Wednesday August 18

Joop in Norway 29 (final)

Last one. We`re all a little quiet here. Partir c`est mourir un peu.
We`re on our way back to Kristiansand harbour. Then the big ferry boat to Danmark.
Then the long drive home across Jutland and Northern Germany.
I like this camper. It`s really a large mobile luxury dog house.
Easy to keep an eye on every member of my pack. Enough food and water and cookies on board.
Hey, we could live in this van for the rest of our lives, why don`t we?
Not a chance. It`s over. So this concludes the pictural story of my vacation in Norway.
Hope I didn`t bore you. It was my first foreign trip. But not my last!
My humans say I`m a good traveling dog and I can join them again on future trips abroad.
Well, okay... they are pretty good traveling humans too, so I may join them again next time.
Next time...

What a fine journey. Not a boring moment (speaking personally)! The good part about going home, Joop, is you can start dreaming about your next trip abroad.

You look a little wistful here, Joop. Or maybe you see a rabbit out there. Anyway, you are lucky to have had such a big adventure and climbing to such high places. Now that you have gone on this vacation, your humans will never leave you behind---they know now: it just won`t be as much fun without our JoopityJoopJoopsterooney! You would love my house. It is just about as big as that camper! -Sarah.

Oui, partir c`est mourir un peu and in German we say "Nichts ist schwerer zu ertragen als eine Reihe schöner Tage"...but you have your memory preserved in your heart and soul, noone can ever take it away from you again. If your humans have promised they will surely take you next time to another wonderful trip, now as you have showed to be a good travelling fellow...and maybe Henk will show US his wonderful photos of the next trip then...?

You do look a bit sad that it is the end of the journey Joop. It was a pleasure to read and see your adventures. I wonder where the next foreign trip will take you.

Boring?? You, Joop??? Never!! You are clearly the coolest dog around and yr travelogue does you justice. And I know what you mean about vacations, they`re always over too soon.
Oh well, I`m anxious to hear how things are going at home too, so bring on the pics!

How good to see that you and your humans are good partners for travelling together!!! But as I can see it was rainning quite a lot that day! With the sun shining things would be even more prettier, wouldn`t they?? Have a nice evening!

Joop, it looks like you might be seeing the Humphrey brother, Bodie? You look like you might see a bulldog pup on back of a motorcycle. If you do, can you give the poor pup some cookies? Love your traveling home picture. I bet you will go the next trip...you are the best travler.
