Joop's Dog Log - Tuesday Jan 20

I`m NOT going out!
I`m staying home today.
It`s raining. Everything is wet and muddy.
Hey, I`m a sunshine dog. I want to go to Brazil.
Maybe someone there will put me up for a while.
So my human can call me and ask me and order me but I`m NOT going out in the rain again.
Or... is that a bacon cookie I see in his hand...?!

HAHAHAHA! Yes, bacon cookies will do it every time... Dogs are very one-track minded. ;-)
Maybe you`d like some doggie shoes? No? Okay, I didn`t think so... Hehehehe.

Oh, Joop, even you can`t resist a bacon cookie! They have quite a reputation. Our friend who comes and helps me with the garden stuff I cannot do has a wonderful dog named Dawg. Dawg is half Rottweiler and half, I don`t know, bus? Mobile home? Something like that cuz he weighs in at a hundred and twenty five pounds. The other day as Dawg was politely waiting outside a store for his person, a couple trained attack dogs (Boo!!)jumped him. Really wrecked his eye, and when his person got in the middle, to save Dawg, he ended up bleeding from bites sufficient to have the ambulance take him away. The human was here today and he told me that this is the first time since the attack that Dawg would even wag his wee stub of a tail. Awwwwwwwww. It looks like he`s going to be okay tho. And his human doesn`t know if the authorities in this town are going to do anything about the attack dogs. I guess nothing`s been done yet! The first thing I did was to get a couple bacon cookies for Dawg. I hear they can even heal dog bites! I sure hope so, cuz Dawg is a really good, good guy. He loves kids and other dogs and just life in general, but most of all, he loves his human. One lucky human, I say!
So, sneak out, just for the necessities, Joop. You can go mighty, mighty fast if you have to. I mean, for a bacon cookie? Sure you can!

Oh Joop, did your human bribe you with the cookie?
Go out for pee and back again :)
Here in Saxonia is a lot of snow now! Wonderful to play for Billy (and write yellow letters :) and the girls and terrible to drive the car ...

It doesn`t look too bad Joop, at least its not cold. You`ll have to go out eventually, even if its just for a minute, may as well go now, while the cookie is waiting !
