Joop's Dog Log - Tuesday Feb 10

Okay, okay, I`m not going to sit here and sulk.
If the admini-humans fixed it, it`s fixed. I`m glad. This is real good.
So it does take a dog to get humans to do the right stuff!
Let`s just hope it`s fixed GOOD this time. Thanks for your support, and emails and all.
I missed you too. My Fotolog time out is over.
So let`s get back to business.
What do you think of this John Kerry guy. Does he look like an American president to you?
I kinda like him...

Joop, it`s great to see you back! You`re looking handsome, as always. I`ll let Flint on the computer tonight to visit (I have too much work to do today — I shouldn`t even be on fotolog right now!). In the meantime, I kinda like Kerry, too. I wasn`t sure at first that he could beat Bush, but, after reading more about him and seeing his speeches and commercials, I think he can. And that`s the MOST important criterion for me (sad what this country has come to!). We have a presidential primary in our state today — I`m off to vote right now. Have a great day, and welcome back.

Kerry ... we can only hope. Sadly, I think the right-wing machine has enough money to make Mother Teresa look bad.

Let me put it this way...there are buttons around that read `ABB`...which stands for `Anybody But Bush`. And that is pretty much where a lot of people are at...they will vote in the Democratic primaries for the person they feel can beat Bush...the person who is most electable, which is why Dean fell to earth so fast. He`s just too far left to be electable. Kerry is rich, liberal, smart, composed, a war veteran, married to one of the heiresses of the Heinz fortune, and in general as far as I can see, a decent person. But most of all, is IQ is substantially higher than Bush`s. Bush, as the whole world knows, has an IQ that starts with a decimal point!!!
So, do I like Kerry...yes, better than Bush by far. Does Kerry inspire passion in voters. No, not yet at least. But they find him decent and electable. And that is the key. Those that want Bush out of office want him gone...with a passion. Hopefully, Kerry is the person to do that. But you watch Bush go after Kerry`s voting record: liberal, pro-abortion, repeal Bush tax cuts for the wealthy, etc. He is going to paint Kerry as way out in left field. What worries me is that a lot of Americans will buy this negative garbage. But who can expect Bush to do anything else.
Hopefully, even though Bush released his pay stubs from the National Guard today, that issue will not go away. That he got paid does not prove he worked for that money. I hope the Democrats can dig up the truth about that.

Hey sweetie, welcome back!!!! We agree with Ann, anyone but Bush. We would love to change political parties and make Bush and his administration go away.
I hope someone can do it. Maybe Kerry can.
This is a great photo! You are, as ever, adorable.

HELLO JOOP!!! So glad to have you and your delightful waggy tail back here again. I`m an American living in China and my opinion is that the entire WORLD needs to get Bush out of the president`s job. He is very dangerous to the world.

Yes indeed, welcome back Joop. We`re watching the Westminster Dog Show here in NYC, but none of the dogs are as handsome as you are.
We call ourselves "Yellow Dog" Democrats, `cause we`d vote for a yellow dog before we`d vote for a Republican... ;-)

Welcome back, Joop! We missed you. I`m with Jazzbiker in the "Yellow Dog" camp. I agree also with Ann. John Kerry`s not terribly exciting. But I`ve respected him through the years, and he`ll have my support!

Hi, Buddy & welcome home! I think Ann279 did a
good cover on Kerry vs Bush. `ABB` is right.
Yes, BushCo will sling mud at Kerry. But really,
what can they say Bush has done for anyone other
than his ultra-wealthy backers?
Hopefully, the truth will out & soon.

I will chime in with the rest, Joop, in expressing my joy at yr return. `Tis good to see you, my boy!
As for John Kerry, I do believe Ann answered that one quite completely. I could vote for him in a second! Probably will, unless something really stunning happens. Today Wesley Clark, the general, quit the race. And Dean cannot be far behind. Personally, I rather hope that Kerry talks John Edwards into the Vice Presidency. He`s young, charismatic, sharp and he comes from that working background that Kerry doesn`t. I think they just might be able to pick off Dubya and whoever he picks for VP. I think it`s a given he`s going to off Cheney, and probably Colin Powell too. We`ll see. My real worry? It`s that we have enough people in this country who vote who cannot see thru to the evil that`s running this country right now. My real fear is that this greedy moron will be re-elected. Now that`s scary!

Ok Joop, you are back and again back with a serious topic: we know that the DKB -family never has been US-addicted like the officals always wanted the Germans after the 2nd world war to be - she never felt rescued from the bad, bad Russians and never considered Big Mac and Cola as real eatable.Little Boss Nick insisted to spent a year in Idaho and came back as a young man with own opinion and healed from his "American dream"...Bosslady was very proud then.US-policy is really refreshing..nobody tries to convince you that it deals with ideals....money rules....
