Locmaria tavern

Île de Groix, Brittany, France

Petit restaurant and café 'Le Bateau Ivre' (The Drunken Boat) at the Locmaria harbour
is named after a poem written in 1871 by the famous French poet Arthur Rimbaud.
The poem describes the drifting and sinking of a boat lost at sea,
in a fragmented first-person narrative saturated with imagery and symbolism.
