As I approached this pond in the wetlands at Slate Run Metro Park near Columbus, Ohio, a large number of frogs
splashed for cover under water. But this frog stayed visible. I got a couple of shots from a distance and from the
side, then moved closer. After a few more shots, I moved even closer and to the front (the frog turned slightly as
I changed positions). I finally got so close that this image is full frame at 600mm (300mm and 2x converter).
The sun and the boardwalk that extends above the wetlands are reflected in the frog's right eye. After I got
this shot and started to stand up, the frog dived under water.
