Hi there,
my name is Pat Vaughan, and I worked in the control tower at MCAF Futenma as a Corporal in the Marine Corps in 1968-69. You took a real nice photo of the tower, which is going into my electronic scrap book. After getting out of the Corps, I graduated from Ohio U., then worked as an air traffic controller for the FAA at Cleveland Center from 1975 until President Reagan fired my ass for going on strike in 1981. I've been a Head Start administrator since that time.
Your camera takes some great pictures Helen. WAIT, Its YOU who takes the great pictues, the camera is just a tool! Thanks Helen, I enjoyed looking at all your galleries again. Chuck

Helen,
Some really great photos.
The two that say CH-53 rotors are CH-53 "tail" rotors. The one that says CH-53 main gear box should be main gear box (transmission) and main rotor system (main rotor blades). "Four of a kind" is the Light Attack Vehicle (LAV-25). The A-10 Gatling is a 30mm Gatling Gun (anti-armor).
