Szentendre: Delightful Town on the Danube

Szentendre is only a half-hour's drive from Budapest and is a delight to visit, with its shops, artists, museums, Skanzen Open-air Museum https://pbase.com/helenpb/skanzen, Orthodox churches, Baroque architecture and all-around pleasant atmosphere. It became the largest Serb settlement in Hungary when many fled here after the Ottoman invasion.

Most of the pictures in this gallery are from January, but we visit occasionally and decided I should perhaps make a sub-gallery for the town since I have accumulated so many images of it.
