By the Light of the Silvery Moon

Washington, D.C.

Actually, it's the light of the street light but that's not as poetic:-). I was walking home tonight with my dog and just happened to look across the street and saw the moon peeking between the tree branches and some houses. We ran home, grabbed the tripod and camera and ran back down the street to try to catch what I had seen. Aside from the wind constantly rustling the leaves, I felt a bit awkward since if you didn't know I was trying to shoot the moon and trees, you might almost think I was shooting the upper floors of the houses. Thus, I sort of wanted to hurry and of course couldn't get the tripod to swivel properly and had to keep an eye on Tilki, who was getting a bit ancy. Anyway, this was what I came up with.
