You can go to yazd to see it.
BTW dubai is a 25 years old city.Ithink you must know this.

Wind tower is originally Iranian technical way of building this towers to cool down the houses. Search just for minutes on google about Yazd city which is located in the centre of Iran. There are wind - towers about 300 or 400 years old, when Dubai was empty and out of any life sign. Even Bastakia word is got from the word Bastak which is a city in Iran, these are not definitely Arabic works. All countries in the Persian Gulf have got these technique from Iranians.
