These were more of the women described in the preceding photograph. Everybody wanted to be photographed with the baby, Alena, who didn't much want to cooperate. When I was getting ready to photograph these particular ladies, I caught sight of the older woman sitting on the path leading to the citadel (really, the "Tourist Path"), waiting for customers, and was struck by the beginnings and endings of life, which can be particularly difficult in this part of town.
