Fred, Bratislava is like a mini-Prague and is quite charming. They're working to make it a tourist destination, and I'm sure they'll succeed -- it already had some Japanese groups there and of course, many Europeans. Everything was cheaper than Prague, the food was excellent, and the nicest hotel of our trip was there (Hotel Perugia). If you ever have a chance to go back, I highly recommend it! Helen

A few years ago my wife and I went on a cruise on the Danube starting at Linz and ending in Bratislava, I am pleased that you visited the old part of Bratislava and have showed some photos wheras when we were there our courier said that there was nothing of interest in Bratislava - How wrong she was.
