Johor Bahru neighborhood

I think this is the last picture I’ll post from Johore Bahru. I have a few others, but nothing I really like. Too bad we only had part of one day there; I imagine there was more to see.

*******

We had walked across a bridge from Singapore to Johor Bahru, Malaysia, and wandered around the city for a day.

Dramatic contrast, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, posted earlier:

Like those narrow streets! ~V

That seems like a tight squeeze. The archway looks gritty, but still charming. V

Interesting shot of a back-lane between two rows of pre-war shop-houses in JB. The archway across the entrance to the back-lane is rather unique. No-parking signs (the double-yellow lines) are painted on both sides of the back-lane, but there is a van parked there anyway. V

Looks like a rundown neighborhood. But maybe the high humidity just ages things fast.
