I was out in the backyard and heard a sort of odd bird call, looked up and saw this catbird just a few feet above me. He didn’t seem bothered by my presence, so I tried getting a few shots with my iPhone, which I wouldn’t normally use for a bird picture. I didn’t dare crop it too much, but all in all was pleased with the result and excited to be able to photograph a bird again, which I haven’t been able to do much of lately due to an inability to walk very far because of a bad knee.
