National Mall squirrel

I know some people consider squirrels pests, and maybe they are, but I still find them to be very cute.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly unsharp.

For some reason I have less love for the gray ones than the red--maybe because they are so much more persistent at the feeders, but they are still cute.

I'm in both camps. I find them a pest (especially if they get into your attic) but also cute (when in Nature). I really enjoy watching them in Nature. Almost as much as Bella does... However, I don't like them (or another other uninvited critter) setting up home inside my house. This is another really cute shot. Very nice soft light and detail.
