Surprising old mural

We were looking for a new mural near some high rise condo in DC but couldn’t find it anywhere, when by chance I caught sight of this very old one. A bit beat up, but I liked the subject matter. I found a picture of it later from when it was first created, and it really looked quite beautiful.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly unsharp.
