‘Why are all these soldiers in our doggy playground?’

Some of the National Guard troops waiting for their ride. If Tim had moved a bit to the left, you’d be able to see the US Capitol straight down East Capitol Street.

I’m grateful for their presence and help in keeping Inauguration Day peaceful.

This morning I read an article about the plans Qanon was promoting on social media. I now understand why there was such concern and a need for the large military presence. Fortunately it was all just hot air. Better safe than sorry. V
