Late bloomers

I was delighted to find some beautiful flowers in a garden I frequent in summer for its blossoms as well as the butterflies and skippers. There wasn’t much of any of them this year, but now, in mid-October, it’s got the prettiest flowers on the Hill.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

Gorgeous dahlia image Helen...they are late bloomers...still have them in flower in my garden....but after the first frost it’s time to dig the tubers up and store until Spring...BV
