Chapel of the Ascension replica

This building in the lower garden was modeled after the Chapel of the Ascension, located on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, I finally figured out after posting this picture
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chapel_of_the_Ascension,_Jerusalem

*****

We went back to the Franciscan Monastery in NE Washington because last year there had been lots of butterflies in their garden, and quite frankly, because we couldn’t go anywhere else due to street closures everywhere for protests and other major gardens still being closed on account of the pandemic.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

Not a big draw, posted earlier:

Neat structure and portrait framing was definitely the way to go. The woman in the background adds interest.

Well, it's not the Dome of the Rock! No idea what that could be ... but it's very nice.
