I noticed this morning that our volunteer peony had finally bloomed! I don’t know how it even got here, but since our old peony, which was cream colored, isn’t blooming at all this year, I was delighted to see it. We think the old plant now isn’t getting enough sun so will have to transplant it to a place where it does, although there aren’t many spots to choose from, especially since Sahraa loves to dig things up in back.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
