Just a quick posting of the last picture in this gallery, of an interview with a native artist.
It was one of the most interesting exhibits I’ve seen in Washington, and I’m so glad we attended when we did, since the museum shut down shortly thereafter due to the coronavirus threat. I left only a few pictures out, ones that I didn’t feel were particularly interesting, and one https://americanart.si.edu/exhibitions/native-women-artists/online/rebecca-belmore that I thought was too painful looking to post. You absolutely have to read the description to understand what it actually is. When I revisited the issue, I couldn’t post it anyway because I had deleted my RAW file.

From the Smithsonian’s Renwick Gallery website:
“Women have long been the creative force behind Native American art, yet their individual contributions have been largely unrecognized, instead treated as anonymous representations of entire cultures. ‘Hearts of Our People: Native Women Artists’ explores the artistic achievements of Native women and establishes their rightful place in the art world.”
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
Out of the ordinary, posted earlier:
