Basement stained glass

Another beautiful door in the basilica. It turned out that the basement, which we had never been to, was full of surprises.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

Cuteness personified, posted earlier:

Such intricate details in the stained glass.. There’s good light behind the doors to highlight the glass even though it’s in the basement.

an odd choice to place this in a basement, as surely it would profit from more light...fine capture on your part..
