The 'restaurantization' of the DQ

This office plaza used to have the only restaurant on the DQ, an Italian place that wasn’t very popular, and a tiny convenience store. Now I see from the signs that there’s a seafood restaurant, sushi bar (the old Italian restaurant) a Pancake House and several other restaurants plus a café, all confirming the growing popularity and population of the Diplomatic Quarter, which clearly is no longer an enclave for diplomats posted to the country. It also has a paid parking lot, something I never saw in three years in the kingdom.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
