Morning light

All of the pictures so far were taken in the morning in the immediate vicinity of our house. We drove a bit further down A Street NE in the afternoon.

*****

Fall came very late to Capitol Hill this year due to unseasonably warm temperatures until the end of October and rain all summer long. The Washington Post had, in fact, called the color "muted," so I set out to prove them wrong and also show off the Victorian houses that host the trees.
