A peek inside

We went back to the 700-acre Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Gardens in Washington, D.C., to see the lotuses and water lilies in advance of their annual festival last weekend, mainly to avoid the horrendous parking problems during the event.

It’s an amazing area within the D.C. city limits and only a 12-minute drive from our house. We need to go there more often!

This is a truly wonderful shot. Not only getting that white lotus beautifully (white can be so hard to photograph), but the angle is perfect, showing, as you say, a peek inside. V
