Pierce School: Basement unit

This is one of the units in the basement, where a gym is also located. I liked this condo because of all the exposed brick and a separate bedroom, quite different from the classrooms above.

I don’t have the exact measurements for this condo, but the units other than the penthouse ranged in size from 750 to 1,775 square feet and in price from $359,000 to $699,000.

*******

We attended an open house of the entire Pierce School Lofts building last weekend and were given permission to photograph whatever we wanted.

The Pierce School was built in 1895, bought by the owners in 2000 for $275,000 as a flooded and rodent infested shell and converted to condos in 2005. All the units are for sale, ranging in price from $359,000 to $699,000 for the lower lofts and $3,399,000 for the 9,500 square foot penthouse.

Another fine composition. It doesn’t look like a very comfortable space. V

for my idea a little too much industrial design, the photography work is wonderful Helen BV

Modern and distinctive for sure. It still lacks that homey feeling and strikes me as a bit cold.

It would be wonderful to have all that space with the high ceilings, tall windows. Excellent shot. V

A very nice place for living, I like the brick wall, it gives some cachet to the condo. V
