A lot of churches in Valletta

Valletta, Malta

Tim said there are 360 churches Valletta, and when he was out one evening they were all having Mass, perhaps because it was Ash Wednesday, so he stopped in one. There were monitors at the doors to prevent tourists from taking pictures, although he did record some of the singing, which I don’t know how to reproduce here.

I lived in Malta in the 1960s, and there were so many churches it was known as the island of hell's bells, goats and smells!
