Green refuge

There were a number of geese and a few ducks in this very green pond, but the brush along the trail was so thick, it was almost impossible to get a straight shot of them, plus they were on the move once I started trying.

Interesting image Helen! Maybe the green is Common Duckweed, it sometimes stays afloat and green in wintertime V

I can't believe how green that pond is for this time of the year.. That is a summer thing around here..
