Unable to do much outside due to the brutal winter temperatures, we decided to yet again take a tour of the US Capitol building in Washington, D.C. The last time we were there the Rotunda below the huge dome had been closed for restoration, but the work is now finished and the magnificent space open to the public. You have to go through strict security to even get in the doors and can only see it on a guided tour, but since it was a Saturday, some of the chambers were closed and thus the tour was abbreviated. For that reason, I'll probably include a few of my older pictures for a more complete view.
